This story has been probably one of my most successful stories ever. And it’s definitely the longest-running. It started with the need for me to test out how mermaids played.. And turned into not just a challschmale, but an inspiring legacy with each main sim having their own personality and writing each entry like a journal. I had originally intended just to play it like a commentary challschmale… but that first sim just spoke to me. Looking back, I’m glad she did. Meeting her and her descendants has been so much fun! The story is an uplifting and fun read about a family of mermaids who all start from humble beginnings and have some goals to meet to be able to pass the legacy on to the firstborn female of each generation.
I hope you all enjoy meeting my mermaids as much as I have enjoyed writing about them. I’m ruhig a long way from finishing the story, and I will be continuing it… as soon as I have the time.

I found this challschmale on the forums.. and am going to tweak it a little to fit what I think it ought to be… but here’s how I plan to “test” the mermaids…. Which is necessary for updating my other challschmales.

* When starting, bulldoze all but community lots (this will leave you eleven lots – just enough for building all of your generations’ houses.)
* Travel to other worlds strictly forbidden. (except for job-related travel and hospital/vet clinic visits)
* 🧜â€â™€ï¸Matriarch must be a mermaid and a female Always use Matriarchal Lines
* ðŸ³ï¸Must start out with nothing for each generation
* 👩â€ðŸ‘§â€ðŸ‘¦Must only have only two children at a time, and they can only age up once they have an A grade
* 🔙If a child ends up being a human you must restart No human babies can be heir
* 🚫No cheats allowed
* All aspiration rewards are allowed, including potion of youth
* ðŸ„â€â™€ï¸You must finish their occupation in order to complete the challschmale
* 💼 Careers are allowed!
* âŒChildren/teens can’t have jobs
* 🎉Once you have done all the generations you have completed the challschmale!
* 👧The heir of the next generation is the first female (mermaid) born in the family
* All generations must live on and build their own separate lot.
Generation Zero: Beige – Starts with a HUMAN Sim
Appearance: Dark Blonde Hair, poor clothing style
Traits: Slob, Childish, Clumsy
Aspiration: Pick whatever you’d like. (Your goal this generation is only to become a Mermaid and have your Mermaid heir) – you fail this generation and must start over If you can’t become a mermaid by the time you hit elder – remember, you can use youth potions to give you more time.
